Artistic Director
Randi grew up in California competing in Acrobatic Gymnastics at a national level and dancing jazz, tap, and ballet. She attended the Inland Valley Classical Ballet Theater learning the Vaganova technique where she competed in YAGP and performed in many full-length ballets including Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker. She also trained for 6 years in character dance, which developed her love for artistry.
For college she moved to Utah to attend BYU where she danced for three years and studied statistics and GIS.
Since graduating she has been teaching dance during the evening while working full-time as a data analyst. She recently performed as Mercedes in Don Quixote. Randi is passionate about furthering dance education and fostering artistry in Utah Valley.
Associate Artistic Director
Cheyenne has been passionate about ballet since the age of nine. She trained at the Dallas Conservatory in high school where she competed in many competitions including YAGP and Nuvo.
Cheyenne then moved to Utah for school where she danced with Ballet Showcase Company at BYU for four years. While at BYU she was on the folk-dance team and enjoyed Irish hard and soft shoe dance. She danced with the Contemporary Ballet Theater taking part in the Sino-American Chinese Exchange Program where she toured in China.
In her free time, she volunteers as a dancer and enjoys costume design and construction. Cheyenne recently performed the lead roles of Kitri in Don Quixote and Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty.
Though she works as a software engineer by day, dance remains an essential part of her life, and she is dedicated to fostering artistry and excellence within the community of adult dancers in Utah Valley.
Assistant Artistic Director
Mira is from Southern California and began her ballet training at the Academy of Ballet Arts. While training she attended several summer intensive programs including Ellison Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. Mira participated in international ballet competitions, receiving the gold medal at the Vienna International Ballet Experience and Top Twelve at the New York Finals for Youth America Grand Prix.
Mira received an offer to study at the Royal Ballet School in England where she spent two years. While there she performed in the Nutcracker as well as core and soloist roles in the annual school performances.
Afterwards Mira received her B.S. in Statistics at BYU. There, Mira danced with Theatre Ballet all four years and performed many soloist and lead roles.
Mira is now an adjunct professor and teaches partnering, pointe and other advanced ballet classes. Mira is an ABT® National Training Curriculum certified teacher for Pre-Primary to Level 3, and a certified Progressing Ballet Technique instructor. Mira is also an MFA candidate at St. Mary’s College of California with research emphasizing somatic informed pedagogy and choreography through fascial intervention.
